Hurdler Noraseela might miss SEA Games

KUALA LUMPUR: Hurdler Noraseela Khalid is in danger of missing the Korat SEA Games after picking up a hamstring injury.

The 2003 Vietnam SEA Games 400m hurdles gold medallist suffered the injury during training last week.

The 29-year-old Rawang lass, who won the bronze in the Doha Asian Games last December, has been prone to injuries.

She was out of action since June after picking up a hamstring injury in the right thigh during a competition in Germany.

National chief coach Hanapiah Nasir said she had recovered from the old hamstring injury last month but suffered a new injury in the same thigh while jumping over hurdles last week.
